ABOUT ARKAT e.V.
As an umbrella organisation in disaster management, ARKAT is active in various areas, including education and training, advising legislation and promoting international cooperation and organising humanitarian aid. The directorate units are civil protection units under public law which, within the framework of the applicable federal and state law, participate on a subsidiary basis in the assistance system jointly supported by the federal government and the states.
