About the Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft e.V. (DLRG)

Through its members and branches, the DLRG forms the largest, voluntary and leading water rescue organisation in the world. It is committed to preventing drownings and helping to ensure the safety of people in, around and on the water. The core tasks of the DLRG include swimming and lifeguard training, education about water hazards and water rescue services.
