Declaration on Accessibility

The Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance strives to make its website accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on barrier-free access to the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

This accessibility statement applies to the version of this website currently accessible on the internet: mit-dir-fuer-uns-alle.de.

An implementation of the accessibility statement in DGS as well as in easy language is currently in progress and will be made available soon.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compatible with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on Accessibility of Public Sector Bodies’ Websites and Mobile Applications due to the following exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

The text elements are not yet available in easy language. We are working on this.
The colour contrasts between the individual text elements and their background colours do not meet accessibility requirements.
The Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance endeavours to make its publications that fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions available in an accessible version with immediate effect, insofar as this does not represent a disproportionate burden for reasons such as urgency or rapid loss of up-to-dateness. With regard to existing publications, the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance is also endeavouring to successively make them available in an accessible version within the aforementioned framework, if possible.

Preparation of this Accessibility Statement

This declaration was drawn up on 28.06.2021.

A self-assessment carried out by the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance was used for its preparation in accordance with Article 3(1)(a) of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11.10.2018 establishing a model accessibility statement pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on barrier-free access to the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. Enforcement procedure

The Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities has a conciliation board pursuant to section 16 BGG. The conciliation board has the task of resolving conflicts between persons with disabilities and federal public bodies.
You can call in the conciliation board if you are not satisfied with the answers you get from the contact option above. The aim is not to find winners or losers. Rather, the aim is to find a solution to a problem together and out of court with the help of the conciliation board.

The conciliation procedure is free of charge. You do not need legal advice either.

On the website of the conciliation board www.schlichtungsstelle-bgg.de you will find all information about the conciliation procedure. There you can read how a conciliation procedure works and how to apply for conciliation. You can also submit the application in plain language or in German sign language.
